Kumara and Walnut Ice CreamPrint this recipe
A unique ice cream that will surprise at your next dinner party.

1 litre milk
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 tsp flour
1 1/2 cups cooked mashed kumara
1 large can evaporated milk
1/2 cup of walnuts
1 tbsp vanilla
Beat sugar, eggs, flour until thick. Heat litre of milk (do not boil) and pour into mixture, cool. Add kumara. Put evaporated milk into a separate mixer bowl and let set in freezer until ice crystals form. Beat until thick and then add to kumara mixture. Add vanilla and walnuts, combine and return to freezer to set.
