450g raw kumara
450g mashed kumara
3 cups plain flower
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
100g softened butter
1/3 cup chopped chives


Preparation Instructions

Grate raw kumara and squeeze to remove and excess moisture. Thoroughly mix grated kumara, mashed kumara, flour, baking powder, salt, butter and chives in a bowl. Shape into rounds and place on a baking tray or roasting dish.

Cooking Instructions

Bake in 180 degree Celsius oven for 35 – 40 minutes.
